Drivers Ltd in Southampton is seeking Class 2 day drivers for immediate start. You will cover pallet work, multi-drop deliveries and collections, with shifts planned around your availability.

The role requires a valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph Card, and solid knowledge of UK/EU driving laws. PAYE or LTD pay options are available, with a pay rate up to £41,600 per year.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 (C) licence and have recent HGV driving experience.
• Driver CPC and Tachograph Card required; knowledge of WTD.
• Excellent communication and flexibility with shift patterns.
• Minimum 2 years Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Ability to adhere to UK/EU driving laws.

Job Description

We are seeking class 2 day drivers, immediate start.

Are you a skilled Class 2 driver? Can you cover pallet work, multi-drop deliveries and collections?

We will work with you based on your availability and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Transport of goods as required.


• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.


• Maintain excellent communication with clients and the office team.


• Adhere to UK/EU driving legislation and the Working Time Directive (WTD).


• Plan appropriately to ensure deliveries are made safely and on time.


• Complete all required delivery documentation.

Requirements

• Driving Licence


• Driver CPC


• Digital Tachograph Card


• A solid understanding of UK/EU driving legislation and Working Time Directive (WTD).


• Hold a valid Class 2 (C) licence and have recent HGV driving experience.


• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience preferred.


• At least 60 days of HGV driving experience within the last 6 months.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Flexible shifts based on your preferences and availability with variable start times.


• Minimum 10 HOURS PAY at most clients.


• PAY STATUS: PAYE or LTD
