Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Class 2 Driver to work on a permanent basis with an established bakery business in Broxburn, Scotland – with immediate starts available, this is an excellent opportunity to secure your next permanent employment.

Permanent role with Monday to Friday 6am starts; weekend work may be required occasionally. Salary is competitive, between £34,000 and £37,000 per annum, with delivery duties across the Central Belt and meticulous paperwork completion.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (C) licence with at least 6 months' driving experience.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph cards required.
• No more than 6 points on licence with no restricted endorsements.
• Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bakery goods across the Central Belt.
• Pull cages and carry products as part of delivery and collection.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately.

As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Delivering bakery goods across the Central Belt
• Pulling cages and carrying products as part of the delivery and collection process
• Completing all necessary delivery paperwork accurately

To be considered as a Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with a minimum of 6 months’ driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
• A good level of physical fitness due to the manual handling requirements of the role
