Job summary

Siamo Recruitment a division of Siamo Group is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our Blackburn operation, delivering goods to pubs, supermarkets and events. The role involves multi-drop work, ensuring on-time deliveries and a professional service.

You will work 5 days out of 7, with start times from 5:00am, and there is potential to move into a permanent position. You will load/unload, perform safety checks and comply with drivers hours rules.

Qualifications

• A valid Category C (Class 2) Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 12 months' experience driving Class 2 vehicles, ideally within a multi-drop environment
• Comfortable working to tight delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver goods to customers within delivery times.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Work alongside warehouse and transport colleagues to keep the operation running efficiently.
• Assist with loading, unloading and general yard duties when required.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any faults, damage or incidents immediately.
• Ensure all driving activity complies with legal requirements, including drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Deal professionally with any delivery problems and report issues to the relevant transport or customer service team.
• Follow all company procedures relating to health and safety, security and transport operations.

Job description

Location: Blackburn| £16 per hour| Class 2 driver

Siamo Group arecurrently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our client's operation in Blackburn, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position. This is a hands-on delivery role involving multi-drop work to a variety of customers, including pubs, supermarkets and events.

You will be responsible for making sure deliveries arrive safely, on schedule and to a high standard, while providing a professional and friendly service to customers.

Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday - flexibility required

Start Times: From 5:00am onwards, depending on the shift

What You'll Be Doing
