Job summary

dh Recruitment & Driver Hire Fife is seeking a reliable Class 2 (Category C) Driver for a temp-to-perm role in the Ballingry area. The position involves multi-drop deliveries, loading/unloading, and customer-facing duties with a typical finish around 09:00.

You’ll join a team offering full training, a clear route to permanent employment after 10 weeks, and competitive hourly rates (£17.50–£19.61 in ad terms). Applicants must hold a valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence is required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good level of fitness due to manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused.
• Previous multi-drop experience is beneficial but not essential.

Job description

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis, with a permanent position available after 10 weeks.

Shift Pattern

• 5 days per week working Monday to Saturday
• One weekday off each week
• Approximate finish: 09:00 hrs

Pay Rates

• £17.50 per hour (holiday pay accrued)
• £19.61 per hour (holiday pay advanced)

The Role

• Multi-drop deliveries to customer premises
• Opening customer premises to complete deliveries
• Manual handling is an essential part of the role
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
