Job summary

HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced HGV 2 Driver to work with our client based in Belper, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing LGV work. The work is general haulage and some pallet network runs.

As an LGV Class 2 Driver you will be delivering goods using a LGV2 Box or curtain vehicle, with 5-7 daily hits. Start times are around 06:00 with shifts typically 9–12 hours. PAYE pay is £16.95–£17.08 per hour, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Class 2 licence entitlement.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest.

Responsibilities

• Making goods deliveries using a LGV2 Box or curtain vehicle.
• Work is simple B2B and some C&D work (5-7 hits per day).
• Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order.
• Completing HGV vehicle checks.
• Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck.
• Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available).
• Starting around 06:00 daily - shifts between 9-12 hours.

Hours & Pay Rates for the Class 2 Driver (PAYE):

Monday to Friday shift pattern - 06:00am Start

Shift Length - 10-12 hours

£16.95 - 17.08 per hour PAYE - (Monday to Friday)
