Job summary

HireGiant Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV 2 Driver to work on behalf of a client in Alfreton, Derbyshire. The role involves general haulage with some pallet-network runs and starts early morning. Weekly pay and ongoing opportunities are offered.

The position requires a Class 2 licence, CPC and Tachograph card, safety boots and Hi-Vis vest, with shifts from 04:00 to 06:00 and 9–12 hour days. Weekend shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 2 LGV entitlement.
• Must hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods using an LGV2 Box or curtain vehicle.
• B2B deliveries with some C&D work (5-7 stops per day).
• Ensure deliveries are documented and paperwork is in order.
• Complete HGV vehicle checks.
• Adhere to WTD and EU Tachograph rules while driving.
• Work Monday to Friday (optionally weekend shifts).
• Shifts typically start 04:00–06:00 and last 9–12 hours.
