Job summary

GMS International Resources is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for ongoing assignments with a relocation specialist covering commercial and residential moves in the UK. You will drive the Class 2 vehicle across various locations, support relocations, and handle loading/unloading as needed.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card, and up to 6 penalty points. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential for ensuring smooth, safe moves.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence.
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle to locations across the UK.

• Deliver and collect furniture, equipment and other items safely and efficiently.

• Work alongside porters and relocation teams to ensure smooth moves.
• Complete vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.

A key client of ours is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team on an ongoing basis. You will be working with a large relocation company specialising in business-to-business commercial moves and, on occasion, residential relocations.

The Role

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle to various locations across the UK.
• Supporting commercial office relocations and residential moves.
• Delivering and collecting furniture, equipment and other items safely and efficiently.
• Assisting with loading and unloading when required.
• Working alongside porters and relocation teams to ensure smooth and efficient moves.
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
• Providing excellent customer service when dealing with clients and customers.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

Pay Rates & Details

• Hourly Rate: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (possible weekends)
• Location: Croydon
• Free onsite parking available
• Various start times
• Minimum 8 hours' pay per day
