DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to support deliveries around Kent, Surrey and South London from Allington, Kent. The role includes early starts on a 3‑week rota and a Driver Mate for bulky items, with emphasis on safety and timely deliveries.

Applicants should hold a valid HGV2 (C) licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph Card, with up to 6 points. DBS check may be required. DHL offers 28 days leave, a strong pension, GP access, and retail discounts.

Formación

• Must hold a valid HGV 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Tachograph card required.
• Experience in customer-facing home deliveries is advantageous.
• Willing to undergo a DBS check if required by DHL.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver bulky items to customer homes with a Driver Mate.
• Deliveries in and around Kent, Surrey and South London.
• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours regulations.
• Regularly complete vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.

Grade: RCS grade P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) 48 hours per week
Shift patterns: 3 week rota - 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off 5.30am start time

A TYPICAL DAY WILL INVOLVE

• Delivering bulky items to customers homes such as beds, mattresses, wardrobes etc alongside a Drivers Mate
• Deliveries will be in and around , Kent, Surrey and South London
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have no more than 6 points on driving license
• Have experience of home delivery
• Have face to face customer service skills
• Are willing to complete a Basic DBS check (Funded by DHL)
