Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking a Class 2 driver for a delivery role transporting drinks and snacks to airport lounges. You will work Monday to Friday with early starts and a typical 10‑hour day, supported by a driver’s mate for loading. The role offers a 12‑week temp‑to‑perm path and security/DBS checks are required.

We provide ongoing PAYE pay, onsite parking, and opportunities for CPC/licence upgrading, with training and 24/7 in‑house support to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

Driver Hire Southampton is currently seeking a Class 2 driver to join our team for a delivery role with our client. The position involves transporting drinks and snacks to airport lounges.

Our client is looking for an individual with excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle tasks with patience and professionalism. Successful candidates will be required to undergo security and DBS checks.

The role:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am-8:30am start times (on average a 10 hour day)
• 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
• Deliveries on cages, with a driver's mate assisting with loading/unloading
• Security and DBS checks required

You'll need:

• Full UK Cat C licence

• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
