Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment seeks Class 2 Drivers in Southampton to work with a national drinks supplier, delivering thousands of alcohol products to hospitality venues across wine, spirits, beer, cider and soft drinks. You will perform multi-drop runs with heavy handballing and must hold a Class 2 licence plus UK DCPC and Digi-tacho.

Salary is £16.96 per hour plus £2.04 holiday pay (£19.00 total) with Monday–Friday hours and immediate starts.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Driving Licence with at least 6 months experience; UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card required.
• Up to 6 points on licence may be accepted, but endorsements DD, TT, DR, CD, IN are not.
• Driver must be up to date with Working Time Directive regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle.
• Multi-drop deliveries (10-12 per day).
• Heavy handballing required.
• Customer-facing role requiring presentable appearance and good communication.

This is a customer facing role, and you must therefore be presentable and able to communicate with people at different levels.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence with at least 6 months experience and you must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
