Job summary

Driver Hire Winchester is looking for a Class 2 driver in the Southampton area. This role involves delivering customer orders to convenience stores and petrol forecourts while handling multidrop deliveries. Ideal candidates should possess a Full UK Class 2 licence and be confident using tail lifts and pump trucks.

With opportunities for ongoing training and a chance to go permanent after 12 weeks, this position is ideal for both experienced and newly qualified drivers.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 licence, valid CPC and Tacho card.
• Good timekeeping and a professional attitude.
• Own transport required due to client's location.
• Confidence using tail lifts, pump trucks, and ratchet straps.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to independent convenience stores and petrol forecourts.
• Handle multidrop deliveries – a mix of cages and pallets.
• Loading and unloading using tail lifts and pump trucks.
• Ensure all goods are delivered safely on time with great customer service.

Monday to Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm (with overtime available)

The Role

• Deliver customer orders to independent convenience stores and petrol forecourts
• Handle multidrop deliveries – a mix of cages and pallets
• Loading and unloading using tail lifts and pump trucks
• Ensure all goods are delivered safely on time, and with great customer service
