Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting for Class 2 and 7.5T Drivers based in Southampton. This is a great opportunity for experienced drivers seeking flexible weekday work, with start times from 07:30 and an average day around 10 hours.

You will be responsible for safe delivery and collection of commercial vehicles across the South Coast, ensuring excellent customer service at every stage. Onsite parking and 24/7 support are available.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence held for a minimum of 1 year.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Own transport required for commuting to and from the site.
• Experience using POD Systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting vans, 7.5T and Class 2 vehicles.
• Carrying out vehicle shunting duties within the yard when required.
• Providing a professional service to commercial customers.
• Ensure safe and professional delivery and collection of vehicles.
• Maintain high standards of customer service throughout each shift.

Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting Class 2 and 7.5T Drivers on behalf of a leading commercial vehicle rental client based in Southampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for flexible weekday work. You will be responsible for the safe and professional delivery and collection of commercial vehicles to customers throughout the South Coast, ensuring excellent customer service at every stage.

The Role

• Monday to Friday AD HOC driving work
• Start times from 07:30am (average working day of around 10 hours)
• Delivering and collecting vans, 7.5T and Class 2 vehicles
• Carrying out vehicle shunting duties within the yard when required
• Providing a professional service to commercial customers

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence, held for a minimum of 1 year
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Own transport required for commuting to and from the site
