Job summary

Gregory Distribution in the United Kingdom is seeking a driver to carry out collections and deliveries of liquid sludge across the region. You will navigate predominantly rural routes and plan daily to stay efficient and timely, with training provided.

You will work with the transport team to provide updates and deliver a professional service to customers both face-to-face and over the phone. A UK Class 1 Licence, DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required, with full training for wastewater

Qualifications

• UK Class 1 Licence is mandatory.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Experience with vacuum tankers or wastewater is beneficial, training provided.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Customer service focused and professional in interactions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out collections and deliveries of liquid sludge throughout the region.
• Navigate predominantly rural routes due to location.
• Plan routes daily to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
• Maintain regular communication with transport team for progress updates and customer service.
• Interact with customers face-to-face and over the phone delivering a professional service.
• Participate in regular training sessions, including DCPC training.
• Training provided for wastewater equipment and related duties.
