Job summary

Gregory Group is seeking a Class 1 Driver to carry out collections and deliveries of liquid sludge across the region. You will navigate rural routes, plan daily schedules, and keep in close contact with the transport team to ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid UK Class 1 Licence, DCPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card, with training provided for vacuum tanker or wastewater operations. A strong customer-focused attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Class 1 Licence.
• A current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with vacuum tankers or wastewater is beneficial, but full training is provided.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Confident, polite manner and strong team spirit.
• Good geographical knowledge of the local area.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and right to work at interview.

Responsibilities

• Carry out collections and deliveries of liquid sludge across the region.
• Navigate predominantly rural routes.
• Plan daily routes to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team for progress updates and customer service.
• Interact with customers face-to-face and over the phone to deliver a professional service.
• Participate in regular training sessions (DCPC/industry standards).
