Job summary

Gregory Group is seeking a Class 1 Driver to carry out collections and deliveries of liquid sludge across the region. You will navigate rural routes, plan daily schedules, and keep in close contact with the transport team to ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid UK Class 1 Licence, DCPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card, with training provided for vacuum tanker or wastewater operations. A strong customer-focused attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Class 1 Licence.
• A current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with vacuum tankers or wastewater is beneficial, but full training is provided.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

• Good geographical knowledge of the local area.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and right to work at interview.

The Role: Class 1 Driver As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

• Carry out collections and deliveries of liquid sludge throughout the region.
• Navigate a high proportion of rural routes due to the nature of collection locations.
• Plan your routes daily to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and support excellent customer service.
• Interact with customers both face-to-face and over the phone, delivering a professional and positive service experience.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
  A valid UK Class 1 Licence.
• A current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with vacuum tankers or wastewater (beneficial, but full training will be provided).
• Strong organisational skills and confidence working to deadlines.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

• Competitive Salary: £37,789 per annum plus you will receive an enhanced rate for working Saturdays.
• Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, start time between 6:00am and 7:00am, including 1 in 3 Saturdays.
