Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution is hiring an HGV Class 1 Driver for our Skelmersdale Depot. The role involves delivering milk across the network, with loading/reloading tasks, and ensuring on-time deliveries with proper paperwork.

You will work 5 days over 7, including weekends, with shifts AM and PM and you’ll be home after every shift, with no overnight stays. A CPC and digital driving card are required, along with a valid licence with minimal points.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) required with CPC and digital driving card.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence; comfortable with physical aspects of the role.
• Able to work as part of a team and individually with a strong work ethic.
• Demonstrates reliability, professionalism and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport milk between farms and sites within the network.
• Load and reload as required; ensure timely deliveries with accurate documentation.
• Comply with safety and transportation regulations; act as the interface with customers.

Are you a HGV Class 1 Driver ready to take your driving career up a gear? We’re looking for enthusiastic HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution team at our Skelmersdale Depot. This permanent, full-time opportunity puts you behind the wheel of a modern vehicle, offers flexibility and gets you home after every shift with no overnight stays.

What’s in it for you

• Shift Pattern– 5 days over 7 (including weekends) AM & PM Shifts available
• As an Inbound Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport milk from farms to different sites within the network (including loading and reloading), ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation.

What we’re looking for

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
• Self motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.
