Job summary

Resolute Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 HGV Shunter for ongoing work in Hinckley. Immediate start with long-term potential. Duties include shunting trailers between sites, dropping and swapping trailers all shift, with around 10 hours per shift on a Monday to Friday pattern.

Applicants must hold a LGV C+E licence, a valid Driver’s CPC and Digi card, and have 1 month Class 1 experience for insurance purposes. No more than 6 points allowed for insurance.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• CPC in-date and Digi card.
• No more than 6 points on licence for insurance purposes.
• 1 month Class 1 (LGV C+E) experience for insurance purposes.

Class 1 HGV Job role:

• No handball.
• Shunting trailers between two sites.
• Drop and Swap trailers for the entire shift.
• 10 Hours per shift on average.
• Trailer Swaps all shift.
• Monday to Friday

Class 1 HGV- What we are looking for:

• Driver must have valid HGV Class 1/Category C+E driving licence
• Driver must have 1 months class 1 (LGV C+E) Experience for insurance purposes.
• Must have valid in-date CPC & Digi cards.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must work well with others and as an individual.
• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences)
