WINNER RECRUITMENT (BIRMINGHAM) LTD is seeking a Night Shift Class 1 Shunter Driver in Hinckley (LE10 3FF). Start times typically between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM with weekend availability.

You will move trailers around the yard, perform vehicle checks, and uphold strict health and safety standards. The role requires an excellent attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No points on licence.
• Experience as a Class 1 Driver essential.
• Shunter driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely and efficiently within the yard.
• Carry out vehicle checks and follow site procedures.
• Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.
• Work with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth operations.

A day in the life of a NIGHT SHIFT Class 1 Shunter Driver will involve moving trailers safely and efficiently around the yard, ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly for loading and dispatch. You will be responsible for carrying out vehicle checks, following site procedures, and maintaining high health and safety standards at all times.

The role requires excellent awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.

The warehouse has a welcoming and supportive environment, with management available to assist whenever needed. All colleagues work together with a collaborative approach to achieve the same goal.

Requirements
