Pay Rates for Class 1 Night Drivers

Nights: £17 per hour, Monday to Friday, PAYE only.

Please note, the above rate does not include holiday pay, which is paid separately.

Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.

Job Description

We require Class 1 Night Drivers immediately for temporary work with a client specializing in distributing fresh milk and dairy products across the UK. Our client in Tewkesbury, a well-known family-run business in Gloucestershire, is reputed for treating their drivers well, based on positive feedback.

This family-run company is looking for drivers to join their smoothly operated team on a temporary basis.

The client is seeking HGV Class 1 Night Drivers who are flexible to work Monday through Sunday, including weekends.

Driver Responsibilities

• Trunking to an RDC
• Store deliveries of cages
• Flexibility to work different contracts
• Manual handling as required

Candidate Requirements

• Valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
• Preferred but not essential: 6 months experience
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Start times vary, but shifts typically begin between 20:00 and 22:00. Shifts can last up to 10-12 hours, in accordance with tachograph law.
