Pay Rates for Class 1 Night Drivers

Nights: £17 per hour (Monday to Friday, PAYE only). Please note, this rate does not include holiday pay, which is paid separately.

Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.

Job Description

We are seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for immediate temporary work with a client specializing in distributing fresh milk and dairy products across the UK. Our client in Tewkesbury, a well-known family-run business, values its drivers highly based on positive feedback.

The role involves joining their smoothly operated team on a temporary basis, with flexibility to work Monday to Sunday nights.

Driver Responsibilities

• Trunking to RDCs
• Store deliveries of cages
• Flexibility to work different contracts
• Manual handling as required

Candidate Requirements

• Valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
• Preferably 6 months experience (not essential)
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Start times are typically between 20:00 and 22:00. Shifts may last up to 10-12 hours, in accordance with tachograph laws.
