Driver Hire is seeking a Class 1 Night Driver for the Thetford area. The role starts ASAP with a temporary to permanent prospect and offers an hourly wage of £16.75–£18.50.

Duties include night trunking with walking floor trailers and periodic training after probation. You must hold a Full UK Manual Licence with Cat C+E entitlement, CPC and Digital Tachocard, with no more than six penalty points and no DG/DD/IN endorsements.

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for Class 1 Night Driver to start ASAP for our client based in Thetford, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team.

The successful Class 1 Night Driver will receive:

• £16.75 basic
• £18.50 overtime after 10hrs
• Guaranteed 10hrs per day.
• 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE.
• Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period.

What to expect as a Class 1 Night Driver

Working Monday to Friday nights between 3pm - 5pm starts. You will be driving a modern fleet with a walking floor trailer mainly doing trailer swaps of recycled tyres. Shifts are typically 10hrs long with overtime available after 10hrs. Training will be given on the walking floor trailer if needed

This position is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Watton, Brandon, Ely and other areas nearby to Thetford.
