Job summary

Driver Hire is seeking a Class 1 Night Driver for the Thetford area. The role starts ASAP with a temporary to permanent prospect and offers an hourly wage of £16.75–£18.50.

Duties include night trunking with walking floor trailers and periodic training after probation. You must hold a Full UK Manual Licence with Cat C+E entitlement, CPC and Digital Tachocard, with no more than six penalty points and no DG/DD/IN endorsements.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual licence with Cat C+E entitlement and CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card holder.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DG, DD or IN endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Night shift work from Monday to Friday, typically 10 hours per shift.
• Trunking duties with walking floor trailers and trailer swaps.
• Training provided for walking floor trailer if needed.
• Shifts between 3pm and 5pm starts; commuting to Thetford area.
