Job summary

Driver Hire Ipswich is seeking a Class 1 or 2 Driver to join our client in Thetford. Start ASAP with early 3am–5am shifts, delivering roll cages in a modern fleet. The role offers Monday to Friday work with every other Saturday, and a typical 9–10 hour day.

Commutable from surrounding towns with a supportive Driver Hire team. Initial pay ranges £14.50–£23.76 per hour, with rises after 12 weeks (£18.28–£23.76 for Class 1; £16.78–£22.32 for Class 2).

Qualifications

• Full UK manual licence.
• Category C or CE entitlement.
• Valid CPC and Digicard.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DG, DD or IN endorsements.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome.

We are looking for Class 1 or 2 Driver to start ASAP for our client based in Thetford, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team.

The successful Class 1 or 2 Driver will receive:

• Class 1
• £15.50 basic | £18.50 overtime & Saturday
• After 12 weeks rises to:
• £18.28 | £23.76
• Class 2
• £14.50 basic | £17 overtime & Saturday
• After 12 weeks rises to:
• £16.78 | £22.32

What to expect as a Class 1 or 2 Driver:

Working Monday to Friday and every other Saturday you will be driving a modern fleet of HGV's delivering roll cages to stores.

This role is for early birds! Start times range from 3am - 5am and your shift will typically be 9-10hrs long.

Delivery locations are East of England. No London work.

As a Class 1 or 2 Driver you must:

• Full UK manual licence
• Category C or CE entitlement
• Valid CPC & Digicard.
• Have no more than 6 effective penalty points.
• No DG, DD or IN endorsements.
