Job summary

Tomlin Personnel Ltd is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver for a temp-to-perm role from day one, based in Nottingham. Work involves delivering to manufacturing sites across the UK with varied start times from 12:00 am to 2:00 am.

You must hold a Class 1 licence with current CPC and Digi card. The rate is £15.50 per hour PAYE, and the client offers regular ongoing work with immediate availability.

Our Customer

Our long established logistics client based Nottingham Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving work to Manufacturing Sites or other similar sites across the UK. Various start times available ranging from 0000am to 0200am.

Experience with Box Trailers would be an advantage but not essential, you are doing 1 delivery out and 1 or 2 collections back, so easy clean work

Licence requirements:

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Up to date CPC for your Class 1
• Up to date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must:

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary:

• Same Pay Rate as their drivers from day 1 - £15.50 ph (PAYE)
