Job summary

Tomlin Personnel Ltd seeks an HGV Class 1 Driver for a temp-to-perm role from day one, based in Nottingham. Drivers transport to manufacturing sites across the UK with start times from 00:00 to 02:00.

You must have a valid Class 1 licence, CPC and Digi card, plus a positive attitude and good communication, with a pay rate of £15.50 per hour PAYE. Experience with Box Trailers is a plus but not essential; the role involves one delivery out and one to two collections back, with neat vehicle upkeep

Our long established logistics client based Nottingham Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving work to Manufacturing Sites or other similar sites across the UK. Various start times available ranging from 0000am to 0200am.

Experience with Box Trailers would be an advantage but not essential, you are doing 1 delivery out and 1 or 2 collections back, so easy clean work

Licence requirements:

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Up to date CPC for your Class 1
• Up to date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must:

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary:

• Same Pay Rate as their drivers from day 1 - £15.50 ph (PAYE)
