Job summary

DFDS A/S in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable Class 1 HGV night driver to deliver frozen goods across the UK. You will be behind the wheel in modern temperature-controlled trucks, ensuring on-time, safe deliveries.

You’ll need a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and a DIGI card; fridge trailer experience is welcome but training is provided. A positive attitude and commitment to safety and customer service are valued. DFDS supports development and offers a range of benefits.

About the role

We’re looking for reliable and professional Class 1 HGV night driver to join our team delivering frozen goods across the UK. You’ll be out on the road in modern, well-equipped trucks, making sure deliveries get where they need to be, safely and on time.

You will be responsible for:

• Collect and deliver frozen products using temperature-controlled trailers

• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift

• Keep delivery paperwork tidy and accurate

• Work closely with our planners to keep things running smoothly

• Use onboard tech to monitor temperatures and routes

• Help out with loading/unloading when needed

About you

You’ll need a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and a DIGI card. Experience with fridge trailers is great, but if you’re new to it, don’t worry, we’ll give you all the training you need. What really matters is a positive attitude, a focus on safety, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service every time.
