Job summary

Driver Hire Preston is recruiting 6 Class 1 HGV drivers for nights-out work. Roles involve four nights out (Mon-Thu) with a Friday return, based in or around Preston. You will be responsible for daily vehicle checks and compliance with tachograph rules, with an emphasis on safety, reliability and punctuality.

Ideal candidates hold a C+E licence, current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and a licence with ≤6 points. We welcome drivers from Blackpool and surrounding areas to apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold C+E driving licence and CPC Card with a Digital Tachograph Card.
• Licence with 6 points or less for minor offences.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to look after the vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Drive nights-out, four nights out from Monday to Thursday, return on Friday.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report damage or defects.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and drivers hours regulations.
