Pertemps Bond is recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver based at East Midlands Gateway for long-term trunking work to other sites, with no handball and potential permanent progression.

Shifts are Days - Monday to Friday. Pay is £16.95 per hour on days, £25.43 per hour for OT after 9.6 hours, and £25.43 per hour on the 6th shift. Benefits include weekly or monthly pay, pension, annual leave, 24/7 support.

• Valid Class 1 Licence for a minimum of 6 months.
• Valid tachograph and DQC card.
• Positive can-do attitude.

Class 1 HGV Driver

Pertemps have long term stable work for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based out of East Midlands Gateway where they pay daily OT rates. As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will undertake trunking work to other company sites, NDC's and RDC's. This is clean work with no handball and presents long term work for Class 1 HGV Drivers. There will be opportunities to be taken on permanent as well should that be a pathway you'd like to explore.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available:

• Days - Monday to Friday

The successful Class 1 Driver will:

• Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
• Have a valid tacho and DQC card
• Have a positive can do attitude

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:

• Trunking goods around the UK - No handball
• Trailer swaps and backloads

You will receive:

• Days - £16.95 per hour
• Days OT after 9.6 hours daily - £25.43 per hour
• 6th Shift - £25.43 per hour
