Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Class 1 Driver for weekend work at our Raunds (NN9 6NY) site. The role is part-time on weekends with early shift starts and a guaranteed minimum shift.

You will join a team responsible for timely deliveries to RDCs and client stores, upholding safety and compliance standards. You must hold a Class 1 licence with CPC and Digi Tacho, have a clean driving record with ≤6 points, and be able to work independently in a busy yard environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driving licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho card.
• Clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Strong awareness of site Health & Safety standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-shift and post-shift vehicle checks.
• Operate a Class 1 curtain-sider vehicle.
• Deliver to RDCs.
• Complete deliveries with no manual tipping.
• Accurately submit all delivery paperwork on time.

As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll be employed on a full‑time, permanent basis, workingWeekends only, (Saturday and/or Sunday) with shifts start times usually of between 04:0‑06:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Carry out thorough pre shift and post-shift vehicle checks, ensuring your vehicle is safe, compliant and ready for the road
• Operate aClass 1 curtain-sidervehicle professionally and safely
• Delivering to RDC's
• Complete deliveries with no manual tipping required.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and delivery documentation, ensuring it is submitted on time

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A valid Class 1 driving licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho card
• A clean driving record withno more than 6 penalty points(excluding DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements)
• A strong awareness of site Health & Safety standards and the safe movement of vehicles in a busy yard environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
