Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for weekend shifts at our Raunds site (NN9 6NY). The role is part-time, weekend-only (Saturday and/or Sunday) with shifts typically starting between 04:00 and 06:00.

You will deliver to RDCs and perform pre- and post-shift vehicle checks. The position offers hourly pay of £22.28 with a guaranteed minimum of 9 hours per shift, plus holiday pay, pension, and access to GXO benefits and training.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 driving licence.
• CPC and Digi Tacho card required.
• Clean driving record with limited penalty points.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-shift and post-shift vehicle checks.
• Operate a Class 1 curtain-sider vehicle safely and professionally.
• Deliver to RDCs and complete deliveries with no manual tipping.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and documentation on time.

We’re proud to support our brand‑new partnership with Beko, operating from our Raunds site (NN9 6NY) and playing a key role in the smooth flow of one of the UK’s most trusted household appliance brands. As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll be employed on a full‑time, permanent basis, working Weekends only, (Saturday and/or Sunday) with shifts start times usually of between 04:00-06:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Carry out thorough pre shift and post-shift vehicle checks, ensuring your vehicle is safe, compliant and ready for the road
• Operate a Class 1 curtain-sider vehicle professionally and safely
• Delivering to RDC's
• Complete deliveries with no manual tipping required.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and delivery documentation, ensuring it is submitted on time

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A valid Class 1 driving licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho card
• A clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points (excluding DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements)
• A strong awareness of site Health & Safety standards and the safe movement of vehicles in a busy yard environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
