Job summary

GXO South Normanton is seeking a Class 2 Driver for a full-time, permanent role with a 50-hour week starting at 4:00 am. The job offers a salary up to £37,492, 25 days of leave plus bank holidays, a company pension and access to GXO University for career development.

Responsibilities include delivering to retail stores, maintaining excellent customer service on every drop, vehicle checks, and occasional warehouse duties. ADR tanks, Driver CPC, and valid tachograph card are required.

Qualifications

• A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• ADR licence with tanks (all classes except 1 and 7).
• Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no disqualifications within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Multidrop deliveries to retail stores and distribution points.
• Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods with excellent customer service at every drop.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service during all deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding delays or changes.
• Perform vehicle checks and keep accurate delivery records.
• Occasional warehouse duties as needed.

Here at GXO South Normanton (DE55 2DT), we're looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our team. You'll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, contracted to 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with start times from 4:00 am.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Carry out Multidrop deliveries to retail stores and distribution points
• Ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods, providing excellent customer service at every drop

• Perform vehicle checks and keeping accurate delivery records
• Performing occasional warehouse duties as needed

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• ADR licence with tanks. All classes except 1 and 7 required
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
