Job summary

GXO Logistics in Mossend (ML1 4UY) is seeking a Class 1 Driver for a full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday, with a rotational start time between 17:30 and 19:00.

You will handle multi-drop deliveries, ensure safe, legal vehicle operation and accurate paperwork, and use automated lift decks as needed.

The role comes with a competitive annual salary of £45,666, 33 days leave, a pension, dental plans, a GP service and access to GXO University.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
• Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
• Digital Tachograph Card required
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No endorsements with a conviction within last 5 years

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries, typically 3–7 drops per day
• Operate vehicle safely and legally, ensure correct loading prior to leaving site
• Complete all documentation accurately per company policy
• Operate automated lift decks as required

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday, with a rotational start time of between 17:30 - 19:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Multi drop deliveries at average of 3- 7 drops per day
• Operating the vehicle in safe and legal manner, guaranteeing it has been loaded correctly prior to leaving site(No Handball Required)
• Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in line with company policy
• Operating automated lift decks as may be required on a day-to-day basis

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
