Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a HGV Driver based in Coalville. You will perform long-distance trunking, pallet network trunking, multi-drop customer deliveries, and operate curtain-sided trailers with flexibility for varying workloads.

You will drive curtain-sided and refrigerated vehicles, conduct daily inspections, report issues, and stay in touch with the transport team for real-time updates. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• UK Class 1 CE licence is essential.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Experience delivering loads to client sites is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Long-distance trunking, pallet network trunking, and multi-drop deliveries.
• Handle curtain-sided and refrigerated vehicles, ensure loading and temperature control where applicable.
• Daily vehicle inspections and prompt defect reporting.
• Communicate with transport coordination for real-time updates.
• Attend health and safety and other training sessions.
