Gregory Distribution Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a professional Class 1 CE driver to join our trunking team. You will operate Heathfield to Birmingham routes, reloads, and return, with flexibility for internal trunking cover and training commitments.

The role requires a valid UK CE licence, DCPC, and Tachograph Card, along with a strong customer-service mindset. Excellent teamwork and reliability are essential to keep our network moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Trunking from Heathfield to Birmingham, reloading, and returning to Heathfield.
• Providing cover for internal trunking operations when required.
• Loading and unloading the vehicle while ensuring all loads are secure and compliant.
• Completing daily vehicle checks using your company-issued mobile device.
• Working closely with the network hubs to support efficient operations.
• Maintaining regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and help manage customer expectations.
• Attending scheduled training sessions to support ongoing development and compliance.
