Job summary

Gregory Distribution is seeking a Class 1 Driver to operate curtain-side or flatbed trailers, delivering customer products to a high professional standard across the UK. You will load and secure goods using straps and nets, perform daily vehicle safety checks, and maintain strong communication with the transport team.

Nights out, weekend/night shift enhancements, and training programs are included to support your development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Tanker experience is desirable but training will be given.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate curtain-side or flatbed trailers to collect and deliver customer products to a high standard.
• Load and secure goods using straps, nets, and other load-securing devices.
• Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using company-issued device.
• Undertake night shifts as required, with weekend and night-rate enhancements.
• Maintain communication with the transport team and meet customer expectations.
• Participate in regular training and development to stay aligned with industry standards.
