Gregory Distribution Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Night Driver based in the Highbridge area.

The role involves trunking materials between production facilities and the central logistics hub, with emphasis on safe loading and securing cargo, and proactive communication with the transport office. You will perform daily vehicle safety checks, maintain strong customer service at every delivery point, and participate in ongoing training to stay compliant with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 CE licence required.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph Driver Card essential for compliance.
• Experience delivering to client sites is advantageous.
• Strong customer service and brand representation at stops.
• Ability to work to tight schedules and manage time.

About The Role

As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will:

Essential Skills And Qualifications

• You must hold a valid UK Class 1 CE licence, enabling you to operate articulated vehicles with confidence and professionalism.
• A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Previous experience delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, representing our brand with professionalism and care at every stop.
• You’ll need to be comfortable working to tight schedules, managing your time effectively to ensure deliveries are made promptly and safely.
• A confident and polite communicator, you’ll work closely with colleagues across transport and logistics, contributing to a supportive and efficient team environment.
• A good understanding of UK road network, particularly across Wales and surrounding regions, will help you navigate routes efficiently and avoid delays.

• Competitive Salary: £17.50 per hour, based on 11.25 hours per shift. PLUS for all hours worked between 21:00hrs & 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £2.75 per hour.
• Shift Hours: Start between 18:00hrs - 21:00hrs, working on a 4on 4off rota.
