Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Professional Driver for a permanent, full-time role based at Tradeteam in Tingley, West Yorkshire. The job involves 45 hours per week with Sunday-Thursday shifts and start times between 16:00-18:00.

Qualifications

• Must hold HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have 12 months recent driving experience.
• Confident working independently, able to manage time well and handle drop-and-swap trailer movements safely.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours Regulations.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks.
• Complete trunking runs from the brewery to multiple sites for dray operations.
• Perform drop-and-swap trailer movements.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Completing trunking runs from the brewery to various sites such as warehouse feeds for dray operations
• Performing drop-and-swap trailer movements

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
