Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Driver based in Coalville. You will be away from the depot most weeks, delivering a variety of loads and supporting multiple depot customers with professional handling and service.

Responsibilities include operating curtain-sided and refrigerated vehicles, performing daily checks, and staying in regular contact with the transport team to provide progress updates and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Responsabilités

• Drive away from depot all week transporting a variety of load types.
• Carry out transport duties including long-distance and trunking, multi-drop deliveries, and curtain-sided trailers.
• Provide transport services for multiple depot-based customers with professional handling and delivery.
• Operate curtain-sided and refrigerated vehicles with loading, secure transport, and temperature control.
• Complete thorough daily vehicle checks using the company mobile device and report defects.
• Stay in regular contact with the transport team to give progress updates and support customer service.
