Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Night Driver to join our network in Coalville. You will operate curtain side trailers, verify freight against manifests, and maintain secure loading while communicating with the Transport Team to ensure excellent service.

This role offers night shifts starting between 21:00 and 23:00, with opportunities for additional certifications, ongoing training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
Experience delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Confident, polite, and a team player.

Responsibilities

Operate a curtain side trailer to trunk palletised goods.
Verify freight against the manifest at each depot stop.
Gain additional certifications such as LST during employment.
Ensure goods are loaded, secured and protected.
Complete daily vehicle safety checks via company device.
Maintain regular communication with Transport Team and customers.
Attend ongoing training and development sessions.
