Job summary

Ideal Recruit Ltd is seeking Class 1 drivers for a well established client based in Haydock. You will operate box trailers with up to 2-3 drops, delivering to cash and carry and corner shops.

Applicants must have CE entitlement, CPC and Tachograph cards, and no more than 6 points. PPE is provided to all drivers, with Saturday/Sunday and night differentials as listed in the role.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 entitlement (CE) is required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph cards required.
• No more than 6 points on your licence for minor endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 on boxed trailers with up to 2–3 drops per shift.
• Deliver to cash and carry and corner shops.
• Adhere to site safety rules and PPE protocols.

Job description

Ideal Recruit is looking for Class 1 drivers with min 6 months of experiencefor well established client based inHaydock.

Rates of Pay with hol included

• Monday to Friday days - £20.32 p/h.
• Overtime days after 9 hours - £30.48 p/h.
• Sat/Sun days - £24.38 p/h.
• Bank hol days - £40.64
• Monday to Friday nights -£24.38 p/h.
• Overtime nightss after 9 hours - £36.56 p/h.
• Sat/Sun nights - £29.25
• Weekend Overtime (days & nights)£36.56 p/h.
• Bank hol nights - £48.75

PPE:Safety boots, vis vests, steel toe caps.

You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:

• HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE).
• At least 6 months of experience as a class 1 driver.
• Valid Driver's CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.
