Manpower UK is recruiting Class 1 Drivers for a leading UK logistics and distribution organisation in the Woking area. The role offers £22.41–£25.53 per hour on a temporary, ongoing basis with various shifts available.

You will operate Class 1 vehicles on planned routes, perform daily checks, load/unload, complete paperwork, and work with the operations team to meet delivery schedules. A professional, reliable, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Valid UK C+E driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• At least 1 year HGV driving experience in logistics.
• Strong knowledge of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
