Manpower UK is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver in Woking. Temporary, ongoing role with shifts across the week. Earn £22.41–£25.53 per hour operating an articulated vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery points.

You will hold a valid UK C+E licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with strict safety and reliability standards. Role involves route planning, paperwork, load/unload duties, and independent work with strong team communication.

Qualifikationen

• Valid UK C+E driving licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Sound knowledge of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.

Aufgaben

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail and parcels to meet delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load and unload vehicles while ensuring goods security.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently with strong communication to the operations team.
• Follow transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
