Job summary

Manpower UK in Thurrock is recruiting reliable Class 1 Drivers for ongoing temporary roles. Earn hourly rates of £21.99 to £25.12, with various shifts and a nationwide logistics operation backing you.

You will operate Class 1 vehicles, perform vehicle checks, load/unload, and complete paperwork, while following safety rules and road transport legislation. Valid UK C+E license, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while communicating with the operations team.
