Job summary

Woodside Logistics Group is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver – Enclosed Car Transporter Operator in Thorne to join our motorfreight division. You will operate throughout Great Britain with a focus on safe, professional vehicle handling and customer handovers.

The role requires a CE licence, Driver CPC and tachograph competence, plus at least one year of CE driving experience. Full induction and ongoing training are provided in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV CE (Class 1) licence and Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph card and CPC qualification.
• Minimum 1 year CE driving experience.
• Knowledge of drivers’ hours and WTD regulations.
• Right to work in the UK. Clean license preferred (up to 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle safely, efficiently and responsibly.
• Present vehicle to customer and complete full handover with controls explained.
• Handle delivery documents on electronic platforms using tablets or smartphones.
• Maintain CE driving licence and tachograph/CPC accuracy.
• Uphold drivers’ hours and WTD regulations.
• Demonstrate right to work in the UK and follow company policies.
