Job summary

Woodside Logistics Group is seeking a Class 1 Driver Enclosed Car Transporter Operator for Thorne and surrounding GB coverage. You will drive safely, hand vehicles to customers and handle electronic delivery documents.

The role includes full training, a competitive pay rate, and progression opportunities within our motorfreight division.

Qualifications

• HGV Class CE licence and CPC qualification are required.
• Digital tachograph card and CPC qualification required.
• Minimum 1 year CE driving experience.
• Maintain a high standard of driving.
• Clean license preferred but up to 6 points acceptable.
• Right to work in the UK must be demonstrated.
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safe, efficient and responsible driving of company vehicle.
• Presentation of vehicle to customer and full handover including controls.
• Delivery documents on electronic platforms using tablets or smartphones.

Shifts available: Monday - Friday Tramping

What are we looking for?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver & Car enthusiast to join our specialist Motorfreight division at Thorne operating throughout Great Britain.

Rate of pay:

Basic (50 hrs / week) £17.00

Overtime 1 (Mon-Fri) £18.49

Overtime 2 (Sat) £22.31

Overtime 3 (Sun & PH) £22.31

Night Away Allowance £28.00

Previous experience working within the automotive industry.

Training:

Full training on transporter equipment and all aspects of the role is provided on a one-on-one basis with one of our Driver Trainers.
