Job summary

GAP Plastics in Blackburn is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join the logistics team. You will transport goods from the Blackburn depot to sites across the group, delivering stock and made-to-order products to depots while adhering to drivers’ hours rules and safety standards.

The role requires a Class 1 Licence with an ideal forklift licence as a bonus. Regular days, 41.25 hours per week, and a starting salary of £34,203 per annum.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Licence required.
• Forklift Licence – desired.
• Physically able to load/unload pallets and break down stillages.
• No DR/DG penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all drivers’ hours rules & regulations are adhered to.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects to the Transport Administrator.
• Delivering stock and made-to-order products to our depots.
• Manually loading/unloading of stock.
