Job summary

GAP Plastics in Blackburn is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team for night shifts. You will deliver stock to depots across the group, ensuring compliance with drivers hours rules and safety standards.

The role requires a valid Class 1 licence (Forklift licence preferred), the ability to load/unload cargo, and a commitment to high-service levels. 41.25 hours per week with a competitive salary of £34,203 plus shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Licence required.
• Forklift Licence is desirable.
• Physically able to break down stillages/pallets and load/unload vehicles.
• No DR/DG penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Ensure drivers’ hours rules and regulations are adhered to.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Deliver stock to depots across the group network.
• Manually load/unload stock as required.
