Job summary

Pin Point Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 Driver in Colchester to join a food manufacturing environment. You will drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for deliveries and collections and support yard operations.

The role includes loading/unloading, forklift operation training provided, and flexible 40+ hour weeks with weekend work. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

Class 1 Driver

Colchester

£15.77 per hour

The Role

• Driving Class 1 vehicles for deliveries and collections
• Supporting operations within the yard when not driving
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• General yard duties as required
• Operating a forklift truck (full in-house training will be provided)

Working Hours

• Variable hours contract with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Drivers are currently working around 48-54 hours per week, depending on workload
• Hours and days will fit in with the needs of the business
• Weekend work will be required
• Day work only - no overnight stays
• When out driving, you can expect to be off-site for 8-10 hours
