Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a professional Class 1 Driver based in Woking, GU21 3BA, for a temporary, ongoing assignment.

Responsibilities include operating a Class 1 vehicle between distribution centres and delivery locations, delivering mail and freight on schedule, and ensuring daily vehicle checks. Requires a UK C+E licence, Driver CPC, and 2+ years HGV experience; ability to work independently and within a team is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than five penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years previous HGV driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer‑focused approach.
