Job summary

Pure Staff's Driving Team is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for Bilston. You will complete 1 to 3 RDC deliveries or collections per shift on modern refrigerated trailers, with temperature-controlled products across nationwide routes. Shifts run Monday to Sunday with early or late starts.

Typical shifts last around 10 hours. Earn from £17.00 per hour days, up to £22.41 per hour for Sundays/NBH nights, with holiday accrual options.

Qualifications

• UK Category C+E licence with valid tachograph and CPC.
• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.

Salary: GBP17 - GBP21.29 per hour

Pure Staff's Driving Team are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to support one of our long-standing customers based in Bilston. Immediate starts are available for reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers looking for consistent ongoing work with one of the UK's leading food manufacturing and distribution businesses.

Our customer is one of the UK's leading poultry processing and food manufacturing companies, supplying fresh and frozen chicken products to major supermarkets, food manufacturers and food-service providers nationwide. Drivers will complete 1 to 3 RDC deliveries or collections per shift using modern refrigerated trailers, transporting temperature-controlled products on professionally planned nationwide routes. Shifts are available Monday to Sunday, with typical start times between 01:00 and 03:00 or 14:00 and 17:00, depending on requirements. Average shift lengths are around 10 hours, occasionally longer. This is genuine ongoing work with consistent shifts available and excellent ongoing, or temporary to permanent opportunities for dependable drivers.

Rates for an HGV Class 1 Driver

Monday to Friday (Days) = £17.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £19.05ph (with holiday pay rolled up)

Monday to Friday (Nights) = £18.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £20.17ph (with holiday pay rolled up)

Saturday (Days) = £18.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £20.17ph (with holiday pay rolled up)

Saturday (Nights) = £19.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £21.29ph (with holiday pay rolled up)

Sundays & Bank Holidays (Days) = £19.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £21.29ph (with holiday pay rolled up)

Sundays & Bank Holidays (Nights) = £20.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £22.41ph (with holiday pay rolled up)

Day shifts start between 04:00 and 15:59

Night shifts start between 16:00 and 03:59
